“Women just don’t have the mind for advanced calculations…” or so says Provost Cunningham, the head of department, who is determined to cut off funding for Doctor Sage’s galvanization work. There is no time for travel as Petronella prepares to defend her research at an inquiry where her entire career is on the line.
Doctor Petronella Sage thinks she has discovered a way to direct travel through time and space. By changing the Chladni design, Sage and Savant find themselves on a pirate ship and living life before the mast. While the life of a pirate is dangerous, finding a way to return to their own Steampunk world and the laboratory of Dr Sage become quite a challenge.
Convinced that their trip into the future might just be delusion, mad-scientist Doctor Petronella Sage devises an experiment to test her hypothesis. Using the most advanced brain science in the Steampunk universe she plans to prove that their latest foray into the world of the future is all an illusion caused by the galvanistic linking of her brain to the Professor’s.
Steampunk scientists Sage and Savant continue to prove that death is no barrier to science as they venture for the first time into the future. The Roarin’ 20s will require all of their ingenuity as they deal with motorcars, prohibition, the coppers and the most confounding of modern inventions – the zipper!
Welcome to the continuing Steampunk adventures of Dr. Petronella Sage and her friend and fellow scientist, Professor Erasmus Savant. In this episode, we join our heroes as the Doctor attempts to recreate the exact circumstances that led to awakening on the battlefield of Auerstadt 85 years in the past.
