As exciting as this historical event is for the trio, it also ends up reaffirming the long, dangerous road ahead for women.
On December 28, 1879, the Tay Railroad Bridge extending from Wormit to Dundee collapsed whilst a train was crossing, killing all on board. This may not sound like an ideal place to find love, but it is where Dr Sage and Professor Savant find themselves on their latest adventure. Can Sage and Savant find a way to change history, can they transform their fate and forge a bridge to a new future?
Sage and Savant live the life of highwaymen. Not just any petty thief, Dr Sage steps into the body of Claude Duval, perhaps the most famous and gallant highwayman in English history. But, has she inadvertently changed history?
Sage and Savant have their skills and nerves tested as they face the knives, arrows, and rifles while in the guise of circus performers. Don’t miss the exciting conclusion of our special two part December episode, Circus of Dreams.
Our heroes travel back to 1880’s to find themselves circus performers. Professor Savant needs to learn to throw knives with deadly accuracy while Dr Sage struggles with someone encroaching on her territory.
Dr Sage hones her skills at pinpointing a time, but selecting where they go is another matter entirely. Camels make another appearance as we explore the history of Brigadier General Edward Beale.
The first opportunity to inspect the space for Doctor Sage’s new laboratory takes a dark turn as a storm wreaks havoc with electrical systems. Our Narrator finds himself in a bit of a bind as he attempts to guide us through the dark. What goes bump in the night? Doctor Sage, Professor Savant, and Abigail will find out as they enter The Haunted Laboratory.
Transmigrating alone whilst the Professor recovers from his ordeal in the desert, Doctor Petronella Sage is stranded in a lunatic asylum in 1899. Teaming up with a young inmate who is away with the fairies, the Doctor seeks to set the record straight on the health benefits of onanism and test a new modal theory for bringing travelers home.
Professor Savant remains in the desert, but will he survive? Dr Sage is visited by The Stranger yet again, with even more questions unanswered. The Charges d’ affairs is pleased with Dr Sage’s progress, but are aware that additional steps will need to be taken to ensure her ‘research’ remains undetected. Season two begins with a whole new set of problems.
